As the owner of Florida Things LLC and a lifelong Florida fisherman, these waters aren’t just scenery to me—they’re my livelihood, my heritage, and something I want preserved for future generations.

This product was created in opposition to the proposed cruise ship terminal being built in Manatee County, Florida. The construction and daily operation of a large cruise port would bring irreversible damage to our local waterways, seagrass beds, mangroves, and marine life that Tampa Bay depends on. Increased dredging, boat traffic, pollution, and shoreline disruption threaten manatees, dolphins, fish populations, and the entire ecosystem that makes this area special.

This isn’t about tourism—it’s about protecting our home.

A portion of the proceeds from this product is donated to a nonprofit organization dedicated to conservation and waterway protection. By wearing or using this item, you’re helping spread awareness, support local voices, and stand up for Florida’s fragile coastal environment.
